The joy of working with clay, with its malleable nature, encourages my creative talents to be expressed in numerous forms. I enjoy the whimsy of "playing" with clay and the joy of making items that will be used daily. My farming/gardening background has inspired many of my organic altered forms. I now delight in the additional inspiration I get while living on Maine's coast.
I do my potting on Westport island. I work in high fire stoneware and porcelain that is gas fired resulting in a durable and useable ware.
