The simple joy of feeding wild birds, the excitement of having a new bird visiting our feeder and the constant drive to attract more birds to live and dine in our neighborhood is one of the reasons we love our business.
In our workshop, myself, Adrian Irek, and my wife Cindy, produce bird houses and bird feeders that are functional and attractive. Since we spend most of our free time in our garden we also wanted to add to that enjoyment by designing feeders and houses that by themselves add to the look of our yard and garden, in doing so we hope we have created items that are just right for your outdoor room, or maybe an indoor room.
Our nest boxes and bird feeders must have certain attributes, they must be well made so they last many seasons, they must always serve their purpose of housing and feeding wild birds, and they must serve the customer who purchases them by being easy to work with.
We are now adding more additions for your garden in the way of garden statues. Faces to hang on a tree, turtles to snuggle in among the creeping thyme, bird baths, and little angels to watch over everything. All made out of our special blend of concrete, all made to last many years, we hope you like them.
After learning more about bats, we decided to add a line of bat houses to our product line.
There have been many studies on bats and their housing needs and there continues to be a need for more housing for bats since their numbers have declined in the last decade. Bats are a huge help in keeping mosquito's and some crop damaging bugs under control and like bees help in pollination.
Bat houses vary in size and performance, gluing and caulking our bat houses helps them be more likely to be occupied.
Our new line of birdhouses are being introduced in 2011.
This line called "WestWinds Hometown Collection" offers a little touch of the country with birdhouses adorned with chimneys, doors, and changeable signs.
